is conducting this voluntary safety recall campaign on certain specific model year 2023-2024 Z vehicles to torque the Left Front Bumper Clip fixing screws. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor.

DEALER RESPONSIBILITY It is the dealer’s responsibility to check Service COMM or Dealer Business Systems (DBS) National Service History for the campaign status on each vehicle falling within the range of this voluntary safety recall which for any reason enters the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties or presented by transient (tourist) owners and vehicles in a dealer’s inventory. Federal law requires that new vehicles in dealer inventory which are the subject of a safety recall must be corrected prior to sale. Failure to do so can result in civil penalties by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. While federal law applies only to new vehicles, Nissan strongly encourages dealers to correct any used vehicles in their inventory before they are retailed. 2/7 NTB23-082 SERVICE PROCEDURE To avoid the risk of death, severe personal injury, or Front Radar Sensor realignment, do not disturb the Front Radar Sensor during this repair. 1. Remove the Front Bumper Fascia from the vehicle. Refer to the ESM: BODY EXTERIOR, DOORS, ROOF & VEHICLE SECURITY > EXTERIOR > REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > FRONT BUMPER > Removal and Installation To help prevent any contact with the Front Radar Sensor, move the Front Bumper Fascia straight outward when removing it from the vehicle. Place the Front Bumper Fascia on a cloth covered surface to prevent scratching. 3. Raise and suitably support the vehicle on a lift. 4. Remove the E27 – E154 SMJ Connector retainer bolt. Disconnect the Intelligent Key Warning Buzzer electrical harness connector. 6. Remove the Horn Low. Remove the 10 mm Horn Low retaining bolt. Disconnect the Horn Low electrical harness connector. The Left Front Bumper Clip is attached to the bottom of the Left Front Combination Lamp. 8. Using an in.-lb torque wrench, torque the three (3) Left Front Bumper Clip Fixing Screws. Install the Horn Low. Horn Low retaining bolt torque: 10.0 N•m (1.0 kg-m, 89 in.-lb) Connect the Horn Low electrical harness connector. 10. Install the Intelligent Key Warning Buzzer. Intelligent Key Warning Buzzer Retaining Bolt torque: 10.0 N•m (1.0 kg-m, 89 in.-lb) Connect the Intelligent Key Warning Buzzer electrical harness connector. 11. Install the E27 – E154 SMJ Connector Retainer bolt. Lower the vehicle and remove it from the lift.
