Summary
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan
) is recalling certain 2011-2012 Nissan
Juke vehicles previously remedied under recall 12V-069. During that recall remedy, the fuel pressure sensor may not have been properly tightened, potentially causing the sensor to loosen and leak fuel.
Remedy
Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will tighten the fuel pressure sensor to the proper torque, free of charge. The recall began on April 24, 2018. Owners may contact Nissan
customer service at 1-800-867-7669.

***** Campaign Summary *****
Nissan is conducting a voluntary safety recall campaign on certain 2011-12 Nissan
Juke vehicles to re-tighten the fuel rail pressure sensor to the correct torque specification. On some affected vehicles, the fuel rail pressure sensor may not have been tightened to specification and may gradually loosen over time due to heat and vibration, which could possibly cause a small amount of fuel to leak.

- Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Recall Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History – Open Campaign I.D. PC618.
- Dealers should not sell, lease, trade, rent or loan any vehicles in dealer inventory affected by this recall campaign until after the vehicle has been remedied.
- Dealers should use NTB18-022 to remedy any vehicles subject to this campaign.
- Once repaired, dealers should submit the claim, using the claims coding provided, and release the vehicle.

INTRODUCTION
Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Safety Recall Campaign on certain specific Model Year 2011 – 2012 Juke vehicles to re-torque the fuel rail pressure sensor. This service will be performed at no charge for parts or labor.
IDENTIFICATION NUMBER
Nissan has assigned identification number PC618 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communications and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign.
DEALER RESPONSIBILITY
It is the dealer’s responsibility to check Service COMM or Dealer Business Systems (DBS) National Service History for the campaign status on each vehicle. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties or presented by transient (tourist) owners and vehicles in a dealer’s inventory. Federal law requires that new vehicles in dealer inventory which are the subject of a safety recall must be corrected prior to sale. Failure to do so can result in civil penalties by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. While federal law applies only to new vehicles, Nissan strongly encourages dealers to correct any used vehicles in their inventory before they are retailed.

Safety Act. Nissan has decided that a defect, which relates to motor vehicle safety, exists in certain 20112012 Model year Nissan
Juke vehicles. Our records indicate that you own or lease the Nissan
vehicle identified by the VIN on the inside of this notice.
Reason for Recall

On certain Juke vehicles, the fuel pressure sensor connection may loosen gradually. If this occurs, a small amount of fuel may leak from the fuel pressure sensor connection that could increase the risk of a fire in the presence of an ignition source. This recall applies even if your vehicle was previously remedied under Recall 12V-069.

Your Nissan dealer will retighten the fuel pressure sensor to the proper torque specification. This free service should take less than an hour to complete, but your Nissan
dealer may require your vehicle for a longer period of time based upon their work schedule.
