REMOTE ENGINE START (IF SO EQUIPPED)
The remote engine start system must be enabled in the vehicle settings within the lower display. To start your
vehicle remotely:
1. Press the lock button to lock the vehicle.
2. Press and hold the remote engine start button within 5 seconds of pressing the lock button and the
engine will start.
To start driving, depress the brake pedal and push the ignition switch START/STOP button to the ON position.
State laws may apply, review local laws before using.
LOCKING AND UNLOCKING THE VEHICLE
• The lock and unlock operating range of the Intelligent Key is within 31.5 in (80 cm) from each request switch.
• To lock the vehicle, push either door handle request switch once or press the lock button on the key fob.
• To unlock the vehicle, perform one of the following procedures:
• Push either door handle request switch once; the corresponding door will unlock. Push the door handle
request switch again within 60 seconds; all other doors will unlock, or
• Press the unlock button on the key fob to unlock the driver’s side door. Press the unlock button again;
all other doors will unlock.

• To slide the seat forward or backward, push the switch forward or backward.
• To recline the seatback, push the switch forward or backward.
SEAT LIFTER
• To adjust the angle of the front portion or height of the seat, push the front or rear end of the switch up or down.
LUMBAR SUPPORT
• Push each side of the adjusting switch to adjust the seat lumbar area until the desired position is achieved.
SEAT/STEERING POSITIONING ON EXIT
• The shift lever must be in P (PARK) position with the ignition switch in the OFF position.
• The entry/exit function can be activated by pushing SET switch , located on the driver’s side door, and then
the corresponding seat switch .

Seat Adjustments

The Rear Door Alert functions under certain conditions to indicate
there may be an object or passenger in the rear seat(s). The system is
activated when a rear door is opened and closed within 10 minutes of
the vehicle being driven.
TURNING THE REAR DOOR ALERT SYSTEM ON:
• Push the Rear Door Alert switch . The Rear Door Alert switch
indicator light will illuminate.
TURNING THE REAR DOOR ALERT SYSTEM OFF:
• Push the Rear Door Alert Switch again. The
Rear Door Alert Switch Indicator light
will go off.
TO DISABLE THE REAR DOOR ALERT SYSTEM:
• When the vehicle is in the P (Park) position, a
message will appear in the vehicle information
display . The options “DISMISS” or “DISABLE
ALERT” will be listed.
• Push the switch to select “DISMISS” to
clear the display. If no selection is made, the
message turns off after a period of time.
• Push the switch to select
“DISABLE ALERT” to disable the horn alert for
the remainder of the current trip.

Rear Door Alert Head Restraint Adjustment
To raise the head restraint: Pull the head restraint up.
To lower the head restraint: Push and hold the lock
knob and push the head restraint down.
Make sure the head restraint is fully engaged in
position after any adjustment.

All power windows can be operated through the main
switch on the driver’s door.
Power windows open/close
Disable passengers’ window operation
POWER WINDOW CONVENIENCE OPENING/
CLOSING FEATURE
To unlock the vehicle and open the windows
simultaneously, press and hold the button on
the Intelligent Key for about 3 seconds after the door
is unlocked.
To stop opening, release the button .
The window cannot be closed using the Intelligent Key.
Using the mechanical key:
Insert the mechanical key and turn the driver’s door key cylinder
to the rear of the vehicle for longer than 1 second. The door is
unlocked and the window keeps opening while turning the key.
To close the windows, turn the driver’s door key cylinder to the
front of the vehicle for longer than 1 second. The door is locked and
the window keeps closing while turning the key.

Windows
You can switch between the conventional rearview
mirror mode and Smart Rear View Mirror mode
(camera view mode) by using the mode select lever .
• When the Smart Rear View Mirror mode is on,
the settings menu can be selected by pressing the
menu button .
• Press the adjustment buttons to adjust the
following settings:
• Brightness • Down/Up • Left/right
• Indication • Language • Rotation
• Dimming Mirror

To complete HomeLink® programing, you can download the HomeLink app or read the
instructions below.
Before you start programing HomeLink®, park outside and within range of your garage.
Then, clear the area around your garage door, place the ignition switch in the ON or
ACC position and locate the remote control transmitter, ensuring a fresh battery is
installed. Please note, a ladder and secondary person may be needed.
To program HomeLink:
1. Position the handheld transceiver within 3 in (8 cm) from the HomeLink surface.
2. Press and hold the desired HomeLink and garage door opener button. Release both when the indicator
flashes rapidly (if so equipped) or “TRAINED” (if so equipped) is displayed in the status area of the mirror.
Before proceeding to the next steps, be sure your garage door is not moving.
• Press the HomeLink button for 2 seconds up to 3 times. If the garage door responds, training is complete.
If the garage door doesn’t respond:
• Press the “learn” or “set” button on the garage opener until an indicator illuminates. Within 30 seconds, press the
HomeLink button in your vehicle for 2 seconds up to 3 times.

Automatic (AUTO) headlight mode ON position (headlights switch on/
off automatically depending on ambient light conditions/daytime running
light system)
Headlight ON position
Side lights, license plate lights and combination meter lighting ON position
Front fog light switch
Push the headlight switch forward for the high beams.
For High Beam Auto-Dimming (Auto position):
• When the vehicle speed is less than 17 mph (27 km/h), the headlight returns
to low beam.
• To disable high beam auto-dimming, turn headlight switch to headlight
ON position .
Pull the headlight switch rearward to flash the high beams.
For normal headlight operation, leave the exterior light switch in the AUTO position.

Wiper and Washer Switch
REAR WIPER AND WASHER
Intermittent (INT) — Rear wiper operates intermittently.
Low (ON) — Rear wiper operates at a
continuous low-speed.
Push the lever forward to activate the rear washer.
RAIN-SENSING AUTOMATIC WIPER SYSTEM
To set the Rain-Sensing Automatic Wiper System:
• Push the lever down to the AUTO position .
The rain sensor sensitivity level can be adjusted by:
• Turning the knob toward the rear (Low) for low
sensitive operation .
• Turning the knob toward the front (High) for high
sensitive operation .
To turn the Rain-Sensing Automatic Wiper System
off, push the lever to the OFF position.

Move the lever up or down to one of
the following positions to operate the
windshield wipers:
MIST One sweep operation
OFF Wipers are OFF
AUTO Rain-sensing automatic wipe

To adjust the wiper sensitivity for the AUTO
setting, twist the control ring .
Pull the lever toward you operate the
windshield washer.

Sun Visors
Pull down the sun visor to block glare
from the front.
Remove the sun visor from the center mount
by lifting it slightly and swing it to the side to
block glare from the side window.
Draw out the extension sun visor from the
main sun visor to block further glare.

Fuel-filler Door
To open the fuel-filler door, unlock
the vehicle and gently push the rear
side of the fuel-filler door.

Clock Set/Adjustment
To adjust the time and the appearance of
the clock on the display:
1. Press the MENU button below the
lower display. Then select the “Settings”
key on the lower display.
2. Select the “Clock” key to adjust “On-
Screen Clock”, “Daylight Savings Time”,
“Clock Format (24h)” and “Time Zone”.

Your vehicle is equipped with two USB ports , located under
the control panel, to which you can connect compatible devices
(cellular phones, iPod®, other compatible audio devices, USB memory
sticks, etc.).
After connecting your device through one of the USB ports, press
the AUDIO button on the control panel to select audio playback
from the device connected through the USB ports.
A second device can be connected for charging. In order to switch to
the second device for audio playback, both devices will need to be
removed and the second device reconnected first.
There are also USB charging ports located in the second row
on the back of the center console. These ports will charge
compatible devices.

USB Connection Port Connecting your Cellular Phone
or Device via Bluetooth®*
Using Bluetooth® technology, you can
connect (pair) your cellular phone with
the in-vehicle system for hands-free use
of your cellular phone.
1. Press the MENU button and touch
the “Connections” key.
2. Touch “Devices” and then “Add
New”. A message is displayed.
3. Operate as guided by the system.
(Operations may differ depending
on the device.)
The paired cellular phone will be added
to the list on the “Connections” screen.
FAVORITE HANDS-FREE PHONE
• You can register a favorite hands-free phone. The phone device
name selected as a favorite will be marked with a star.
For any Bluetooth® connectivity issues, reboot your cellular
phone or device.

Bluetooth® Streaming Audio
If you have a compatible Bluetooth® device with streaming audio (A2DP and AVRCP profiles), you can set up a wireless connection between your
Bluetooth® device and the in-vehicle audio system, enabling you to listen to the audio from your device through the vehicle’s audio system.
After connecting your Bluetooth® device, press the MEDIA button on the control panel to switch to Bluetooth® Streaming Audio.
For any Bluetooth® connectivity issues, reboot your cellular phone or device.

Apple CarPlay®
Apple CarPlay® lets you use your compatible iPhone® to make calls, listen to music, send and receive
messages, get directions and use iPhone apps directly from your vehicle display.
If your compatible iPhone does not connect wirelessly, connect your iPhone to the USB connection
port located in the center console.
• Depending on the setting, the startup information screen will appear on the upper display.
• Select “Yes” to use Apple CarPlay.
• After the iPhone is connected, the Apple CarPlay home screen will appear and the iPhone
functions displayed on the screen can be operated by the in-vehicle system.
While connected to Apple CarPlay, Siri® operation can be accessed.
There are two ways to start a Siri session:
1. Press and hold the button on the steering wheel.
2. Select and hold the key on the lower left corner of the Apple CarPlay screen.
Press the button on the steering wheel or select the key on the lower left corner of the
Apple CarPlay screen to end the Siri session.
Keep the interior of the vehicle as quiet as possible. Close the windows to eliminate the surrounding
noises (traffic noises, vibration sounds, etc.) and point the heater and air conditioner vents away from
the ceiling, which may prevent the system from recognizing the voice commands correctly.
Some Siri functions may not be available during driving. For functions that can be used with Siri,
please refer to the Apple® website.
To return to the Apple CarPlay home screen after operation, select the key on the lower left corner of the Apple CarPlay screen.
To return to the Apple CarPlay screen from the main menu:
1. Press the MENU button and select the Apple CarPlay key , or
2. Select the “Information” key , select the “Apps” key, and then select the “Apple CarPlay” key.

Android Auto™ connects with your compatible Android® phone to control your phone, apps and navigation directly from your vehicle display.
INITIAL SETUP
• Download the Android Auto app from the Google Play™ store to your compatible Android phone.
• Launch the app from your Android phone and follow the directions for setting up the application. Several permissions will need to be given to
the app for Android Auto to fully function on your in-vehicle system.
USING ANDROID AUTO
To connect your Android phone to the in-vehicle system, you must connect a USB cable to the USB
connection port located in the center console.
• Depending on the setting, the startup information screen will appear on the upper display.
• Select “Yes” to use Android Auto.
• After the cellular phone is connected, the Android Auto home screen will appear and can be
operated by the in-vehicle system. When connected to Android Auto, Google Assistant™ can be
accessed. There are three ways to start Google Assistant™:
1. Press and hold the button on the steering wheel until a beep is heard.
2. Select the key on the upper right corner of the Android Auto screen.
3. Say “OK Google” (requires appropriate permissions enabled via cellular phone).
To return to the Android Auto home screen after operation, select the key on the Launch Bar.
To exit the Android Auto screen, press the MENU button or select the key .
To return to the Android Auto home screen from the main menu:
1. Press the MENU button and select the key , or
2. Select the “Information” key , select the “Apps” key, and then select the “Android Auto” key.
If you have difficulties with connection or performance, try a different USB cable.

Use the INFINITI

through the upper display screens.
• Press the button to return to the previous screen.
• Press the MAP/VOICE button to display the map.
SETTING A ROUTE
To set a route, first ensure that the correct region is selected on the
upper display.
1. Press the MENU button below the lower display.
2. Select the “Destination” key on the lower display.
3. Select the preferred destination setting method.
4. Enter the address number, street name, and city as prompted
by the screen.
CANCELING A ROUTE
1. Press the MENU button below the lower display.
2. Select the “Cancel Route” key on the lower display.
GUIDANCE VOLUME
• While guidance is being announced, the guidance volume can be
adjusted by turning the audio system volume knob.
• The guidance volume can also be adjusted in the “Settings” menu.
1. Press the MENU button below the lower display.
2. Select the “Settings” key and then the
“Volume & Beeps” key on the display.
3. Next, select the “Guidance Volume” key. Use
the “–” and “+” keys to adjust the volume.

SYSTEM OPERATING TIPS
• The interior of the vehicle should be as quiet as possible.
• Speak naturally. Speaking too fast, too slow, too soft or too loud makes voice recognition more difficult.
• Confirm that the correct voice commands are being used. Glance at the screen to see the currently available commands.
USING THE VOICE RECOGNITION SYSTEM
• Press the button on the steering wheel, and a list of commands will appear on the screen.
• After the tone sounds, speak the command.
• To skip the voice prompt and give the command immediately, press the button on the steering wheel to interrupt the system. Speak the
next command after the tone sounds.
• To cancel the command, press and hold the button on the steering wheel.

With this entertainment system, you can play video files on
the rear display screen .
Watching videos:
• Connect your compatible device to the USB connection
port or HDMI port located at the rear of the center
console box.
• The source can be changed on the rear displays using
the remote by pressing the HOME button .
HOME – Change video source
POWER – Turn display screen on and off
DISPLAY SELECT – Change display
controls between right and left screen
MENU – Change menu display

SETTING A CRUISING SPEED
• Push the ON/OFF switch to turn on the system.
• With the vehicle at the desired speed, push down the switch
to COAST/SET to enable cruise control.
• The cruising speed can be adjusted to a higher or lower speed
by toggling the switch up or down.
CANCELING THE PRESET SPEED
• Push the CANCEL switch or tap the brake pedal.
INTELLIGENT CRUISE CONTROL (ICC) (if so equipped)
The ICC system is designed to maintain a selected distance
from the vehicle in front of you and reduce the speed to match a
slower vehicle ahead.
• To increase the distance to the vehicle ahead to be maintained
by the ICC system, push the distance switch until the display
shows the desired set distance, which is shown by the number
of lines on the set distance indicator .
• When a vehicle is detected ahead, a car icon will illuminate on
the vehicle ahead detection indicator and your vehicle will reduce the speed to match the slower vehicle.
To use Conventional (fixed speed) Cruise Control mode (if so equipped):
• While cruise control is off, push and hold the ON/OFF switch for more than 1.5 seconds. The cruise
indicators are displayed.
• Accelerate to the desired speed.
• Push the switch down toward COAST/SET and release it. The color of the cruise indicator changes to
green and set vehicle speed indicator is displayed.

• The Forward Emergency Braking (FEB) system
can assist the driver when there is a risk of a
forward collision with the vehicle ahead in the
traveling lane or with a pedestrian.
• The FEB operates at speeds greater than
3 mph (5 km/h).
• If there is a risk of a forward collision, an audible
tone will sound and the vehicle ahead detection
indicator light will illuminate. If the driver
applies the brakes after the warning and the FEB
detects that there is still the possibility
of a forward collision, the system will
automatically increase the braking force.
If the driver does not take action, the FEB
will issue a second flashing visual warning
, an audible warning and also apply
partial braking.
TURNING FORWARD EMERGENCY BRAKING WITH
PEDESTRIAN DETECTION ON OR OFF
1. Push the MENU button and touch “Driver Assistance” on
the lower display.
2. Touch “Emergency Assist”.

Blind Spot Warning (BSW) Forward Emergency Braking
with Pedestrian Detection
• The Blind Spot Warning (BSW) can help alert the driver of other
vehicles in the blind spot area when changing lanes.
• When the Warning Systems switch is turned off, the warning
systems ON indicator light on the switch is off.
TURNING BLIND SPOT WARNING ON OR OFF
1. Push the MENU button and touch “Driver Assistance”
on the lower display.
2. Touch “Blind Spot Assist”.
3. Touch “Blind Spot Warning” to enable or disable the system.

Around View® Monitor with Moving Object Detection
• With the ignition switch in the ON position, activate the Intelligent Around View® Monitor by pressing
the CAMERA button , located on the control panel, or by moving the shift lever to the
R (Reverse) position. The monitor displays various views of the position of the vehicle.
MOVING OBJECT DETECTION (MOD) (if so equipped)
• The MOD system helps inform the driver of moving objects around the vehicle.
• The system will operate when the shift lever is in the D (Drive), N (Neutral), R (Reverse) or P (Park)
position and the vehicle is driven at speeds of approximately 5 mph (8 km/h) or less.
• If the MOD system detects moving objects, a yellow frame will be displayed on the camera image.
• When the following is displayed:
• Green MOD icon ; the system is active.
• White MOD icon; the system is not active.
• No MOD icon; the system is off. The indicator will also be off if all of the warning systems are
deactivated using the Settings menu.
• The MOD system will not operate if the liftgate is open.

Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
(if so equipped)
Lane Departure Warning (LDW) warns you if the vehicle is beginning to leave
the traveling lane.
• LDW is activated at speeds of 45 mph (70 km/h) and above
and the lane markings are clear.
• If a front wheel passes over a lane marking, LDW will warn
you through a visual alert and an
intermittent vibration in the steering
wheel for up to 1.5 seconds.
• The Warning Systems switch is located
in the lower switch bank.
TURNING LANE DEPARTURE
WARNING ON OR OFF
1. Push the MENU button and touch “Driver
Assistance” on the lower display.
2. Touch “Blind Spot Assist”.
3. Touch “Blind Spot Warning” to turn Lane Departure
Warning ON or OFF.

Hill Start Assist
The Hill Start Assist system allows time for the driver to
release the brake pedal and apply the accelerator when
the vehicle is parked on a hill. The brakes are applied
automatically for 2 seconds after the driver releases the
brake pedal.
• The Hill Start Assist system will operate automatically
under these conditions:
• The shift lever is shifted into a
forward or a reverse gear.
• The vehicle is stopped completely on a hill by applying
the brake.
• The Hill Start Assist system will not operate when the
shift lever is in the N (Neutral) or P (Park) position or
when the vehicle is on a flat and level road.

Predictive Forward Collision
Warning (PFCW)
The Predictive Forward Collision Warning (PFCW) system uses
a sensor in front of the vehicle to analyze the distance and
speed of the vehicle ahead.
• The PFCW system operates above speeds of
3 mph (5 km/h).
• If there is a risk of a forward
collision, a warning to the driver by
flashing indicator will appear ,
along with an audible alert.
TURNING PREDICTIVE FORWARD
COLLISION WARNING ON OR OFF
1. Press the MENU button
below the lower display.
2. Touch the “Driver Assistance” key
on the lower display.
3. Touch the “Emergency Assist” key
4. Touch the “Emergency Braking”
key to turn system on or off.
• A warning light will illuminate
when the system is off. The PFCW system automatically
turns back on when the engine is restarted.

The I-BI system can help alert
the driver of an approaching
vehicle or objects behind the
vehicle when backing out of
parking spaces.
• I-BI system will turn
on when the shift lever

illuminate and indicators will appear on the touch screen
display .
